This GHS Awareness E-Package has both Video and E-Learning package so employees anywhere in Australia can understand the upcoming legislation that has been accepted for the Australian workplace and must be implemented by the end of 2016.
The package shows in a visual format the key aspects of new chemical labels, new safety data sheet structures and classification criteria that will be used in this new global chemical management system, designed and developed by the United Nations.
GHS is already full implemented in the USA and Europe in addition to over 50 countries and Australia has agreed to the system recognition with full implementation by the end of 2016.
The detail of the GHS System is contained within the WHS Act here in Western Australia which is expected to be in place by early 2015 – Do You Understand The GHS Requirements?
This far reaching change will have a wide impact on businesses as it aim to develop a better understanding of chemical hazards in the workplace, specifically increased awareness of Health and Environmental Hazards.
The GHS Awareness Video is 23 minutes long and GHS Awareness E-learning package is 35 minutes in duration and regulatory requirements are covered and a certificate of completion covering test score and subjects covered is sent direct to the student.
